Bishop Museum

BISHOP MUSEUM

The Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum is Hawaii’s largest museum, celebrating the history and science of Hawaii and the Pacific. The museum is closed every Tuesday and on Christmas Day, but is open year round with regular hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Iolani Palace

A powerful and profound look into history, the Pearl Harbor Naval memorials include the USS Arizona, the Battleship Missouri Memorial, the USS Bowfin Museum & Park, the USS Oklahoma Memorial, and the Pacific Aviation Museum.

The Polynesian Cultural Center

Take a journey through the Polynesian Islands across seven villages. Established in 1963 in the town of Laie on the North Shore, the PCC was established by the Church of Latter Day Saints.

This thriving botanical garden and historical site features both native and non-native plants that have been introduced to Hawaii over several millennia. You can also take the hike to Waimea Falls where you can take a dip in a cool natural pool.
